The pieces in the Indigenous Blooms collection are especially dear to my heart since their designs were the very first ones I created for Bolé Road Textiles. Using flowers found in Ethiopia as inspiration, I thought about ways of translating their beauty through design, sketched all my ides down on paper, then went to Ethiopia to find the artisans who ultimately helped me bring them to life.
Glancing on our site, you know that not only are all the pillows in the Indigenous Blooms collection inspired by the flowers of Ethiopia, but they're also named after them.
