The Currency Wall Hanging explores form, texture, and movement through natural material. Inspired by historic African currency objects, this sculptural piece honors both tradition and experimentation.

This is Bolé Road’s first piece using Kacha, a native Ethiopian grass, as its primary medium. Hand-shaped and loomed, the form embraces the wild character of the fiber — untamed, expressive, and full of life. The weave is loose and intuitive, allowing the material’s natural energy to guide its final shape.

More art object than accessory, this wall hanging brings grounded energy to any space.
