I want to kick off this blog with a series of inspiring interiors and design ideas. I’m starting with a truly fabulous space, possibly my favorite. I don’t really believe in favorites -- there’s simply too much out there to love. BUT if I had to pick my all-time favorite interior it would be Jessica Helgerson’s Brooklyn Brownstone.
It masterfully balances so many contrasting elements: light/dark, bold color/neutrals, and most amazingly traditional/modern. Every room is perfect and the bedrooms in particular are a dream. I love the way the handwoven textiles add so much life to the crisp modern interior.
This finely tuned eclectic space is filled with surprises and delight. It represents everything that I love about interiors.
